Emily helped me get some Bountiful Baskets produce in March, just a few days before we started down the road of remodeling commitment. Lucky for us this event provided some of the only "Before" pictures to be had. Note the lovely teal counter tops. At least the charming little girl is cute!

Pretty much the same vantage point as the 1st photo, but in its (nearly) finished state!
Kearis doing her model pose...keep that skirt down , little girl!
The undermounting of the sink... old sink...new granite!
(Yes, they had to take the sink away for a month to get that curve cut out and polished,
but now, since it's over, it was worth it!)
Finally got the inertia up to do the grout work. Kearis has a much higher rating
for the glass subway tile since the grouting went in.

My new food processor doesn't fit under the cabinets. It will have to sit here and look all professional.
Brighton's bubble picture will have to show the "before" the sink undermounting view.

Kearis and her friends, including Marissa, felt free to use a Sharpie on the outgoing formica.
There were a few messages of which mom did not approve...

Brighton, due to his relationship to Marissa and Levi, ended up here for many phases of construction.
He fancies himself to be a pretty good painter.

Ha! My only contribution to this project would be choosing those teal countertops a million years ago. In my defense, it was the early 90s and teal WAS cute!
The kitchen looks great--can't wait to see it in person!
Oh the process was worth it. Makes me want to write to those HGTV people though about their skewed view of time! We were glad to be of help!
Looks great! Although it seems a bit backwards to leave town as soon as its completed. :) Enjoy California. See you all soon!
