We were packed to the gills- but we all managed to fit in the car! With a few extra potty stops and a lot of patience, (Plus the portable DVD players), we managed to arrive all in one piece!
Our very first potty stop- just 2 hours from home. If Bob's Big Boy had actually been open- we might have had a burger for breakfast!
The horses were a long-awaited activity for when we arrived in Idaho. Chad and Levi did the wrangling, the hard part, so the kids could have their brief but happy experience.
Emily likes the horses- a lot!
After having his horse shake like crazy at the horse flies, Patrick decided that leading might be safer than riding!
Little Miss Kennedy tried a bit of a ride, asssted by big, strong Levi- but a minute or two was planty for her!
Turns out Patrick felt considerably braver with an alligator puppet attached to his arm. While he wouldn't ride again he was happy to lead the horses as long as the alligator was there to shore up his courage!
